Embrace yourself while working in a group

Group coaching allows us to look at ourselves in a different way as we listen to stories, lessons and questions from others.

Yes, it is true, people show us what we can not see in ourselves sometimes.

This will make you take responsibility for who you are and how you act.

It makes it easier to be who you really are as you see yourself from a third person point of view.

Embrace yourself is a 4-week Tele-call series where you hear about different topics, be lead through meditations and are able to ask questions. If you miss a call, it’s recorded.

Here’s the link to the program coming May 7th! Early Bird is until April 16th with a small investment of $97.

Quality content, quality learning and a better summer quality YOU!

From vacation to reality

When on vacation, how do you view life?

How do you view your day to day life?

As the complete coconut or the one that has all the coconut water and sweet coconut meat to enjoy? (please excuse the quality of the pictures-there was a camera incident at the beach;)

If we look at the whole coconut, what do you see? Do you know the benefits and the joys you will get by breaking into it?

Ever think if we always viewed life from vacation mode or as the open coconut, how much more fun we would have?

You could constantly be on an adventure, exploring and creating magical experiences.

What adventure do you want to create for yourself today, this week and even in this month? Yes in your day to day life:)

Take a deep breath and call in the energy of vacation mode. How does it feel?

It can be that easy to enjoy life to the fullest, to have fun and laugh.

What is one thing you can do in your day to day that you would do on vacation mode?

Feel free to post on the Facebook page:)

Making a decision

I had made a last minute decision to come to India two weeks. It is last minute as I decided to leave within two weeks and go for one month. Miraculously, all of my projects and coaching relationships aligned to allow me to either honor my commitments from India or when I came back, this taught me that the universe does truly align when we make a decision and know in our heart it is our highest good.

The last time I came to the Athreya Ayurvedic Resort in Kottayam, Kerala was in January 2012 and August 2010. At that time I was suffering from a debilitating back pain that had me in bed for 7 months out of three years. In my first visit, I walked out of the back pain forever. The second visit was more a cherry on top. This visit is more of physical detox and cleanse as I have been doing so much spiritual, emotional and mental work that I needed to bring the physical into alignment.

Injury has taught me that it is just not physical. My back pain was a combination of feeling unsafe, insecure, not living my purpose. It was an important lesson for me to listen to my body and the messages I receive.

Have you noticed that when you breathe into a pain in your body, awareness may arise?

Every time I make a decision that I am going to be healthy, pain free or anything in that manner, I notice that “miraculously” I am. I have been a strong believer in that power is in the mind and that is proven to me on a day to day.

A decision sometimes is not make any decision at all but that it still a decision. A decision allows us to send a clear message of what we really want so that we can receive it.

What decision do you want to make for yourself in this moment? What have you been going back and forth on but know the answer that is in your highest good?

I made a decision two weeks ago to bring my physical into alignment with everything else. I am sitting here jetlagged at the resort, sore from my treatment today but overjoyed that I have been supported in my decision.

Date with you

Our relationship with ourselves is really a mirror of our relationship with others.
We can only treat others as well as we treat ourselves as that is the best of how we know.

How do you treat yourself? Do you spend time with yourself doing what you want to do? When was your last date with yourself where you really had a great time? How do you talk about yourself and your body?

Wow, that’s a lot of questions.

Are you thinking…really a date with myself? What does that mean?

For example my yesterday’s date was a movie “What’s your number” and a bath. I did indulge in an ice cream because my body said yes to it. Yes check in with yourself and your body as to what it really wants. This check in is the type you would do with a best friend to see what they want so you both have a great time.

With this exercise you are able to connect to yourself in a more complete way.

Do a check in now and honor what you want to do.

Have a fun date with yourself!

Honouring our bodies

How is it you honour your body?

Do you take the necessary time to relax and rejuvenate?

It is the cold/flu season right now. I have been sick on and off for the last three weeks. I have a nice husky voice at the moment that may not really sound like me.

I realized how much I have not honoured my body by not allowing it the rest and rejuvenation that it needed. I have been working long hours as I am really passionate about what I am doing. Admist these long hours, I neglected the passion for honouring my body.

I was forced to cancel a three day vacation of rest and rejuvenation at a small resort as I didn’t have the energy to get on the ferry. Instead I am resting and rejuvenating in the comfort of my own home. I realized that this is the better way for me to rest and rejuvenate as I am learning how to incorporate this into my daily lifestyle.

This lesson did cost me the deposit on the resort and the fact I am sick. It was an important lesson for me to learn. I just have compassion for myself and will incorporate the honouring of my body into my daily routine.

How will you incorporate honouring yourself into your day to day?
